The False Faces series includes 13 Days.

It is a 16" x 12” Ink and acrylic on stretched canvas in deep hues of dark blue and green. It shows a person with eyes lightly closed shut and cast down with an expression of worry on their face. To know what their thoughts are would be to know the story behind this piece of 13 days.

More About The Artist

Sacramento area-based artist, Jamie Angello, has been exploring their rediscovered love of painting for the past several years. Originally trained in painting, Jamie took a multi-year break to investigate and enjoy the spatial properties of sculpture and the dimension of time in music.

Jamie’s evolution from painting to sculpture and music and then back again has allowed them to introduce a new love of materiality and process into their paintings.
